The final study and the implementation study of the last group of school buildings of the contract with the Municipality of Kozani, entitled “Energy Upgrading Studies of Fourteen (14) school buildings in Municipality of Kozani” was completed and submitted in a timely manner on 23/12/2020, including general plans and drawings, detail plans, window panel tables and issues of calculations, auction, budget, bill of quantities, and xml files for the 2nd Lyceum and the 2nd EPAL of Kozani.
The project includes studies for a total of 14 schools in the wider area of the Municipality of Kozani, considering the particularities of each school, aiming to energy upgrading of the school buildings, in order to achieve maximum energy savings, by reducing operating costs and energy footprint. The upgrade works mainly concerned interventions not only regrding the shell (replacement of frames and installation of external thermal insulation, etc.), but also regarding the electromechanical systems (upgrade works of the heating system, replacement of luminaires with new LED technology, etc.).
