The main goal of GAIA SA MELETON policy is to provide quality services within the shortest time and ensure high customer satisfaction whilst adhering to the principles of sustainable development, with one of its main orientation to be the respect to the human resources by providing a suitable and safe work environment. The means we use in order to achieve this goal is the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) according to ELOT EN ISO 9001:2018 and its continuous improvement , the implementation of a Health and Safety Management System (HSM) according to ELOT 1801:2008 (OHSAS 18001:2007) and the implementation of an environmental management system according to ELOT EN ISO 14001:2015.
Our Company specifies the quality of services provided and communication methods with its customers, based on the international standard ELOT EN ISO 9001:2008. GAIA S.A. MELETON applied the international standard EN ISO 9002:1994 since 1999. We transitioned to the EN ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2003 (inspected and accredited on 5th and 6th December, 2003) , to the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2008 in 2010 (inspected and accredited on 16th and 17th February, 2010) and to the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2018 in 2018 (inspected and accredited on 6th and 7th September).
In order to ensure a suitable and safe work environment for both members of the company and for the GAIA SA customers proceeded in the certification to the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 for Health and Safety at Work after a successful audit on September the 6th, 2016.
In addition, our Company, in its effort to control and to actively monitor the impact of its activities on the environment and to continuously improve its environmental performance through a series of preventive policies, has also been certified in the International Standard ISO 14001: 2015 for Environmental Management with the successful inspection on September 25th 2017
Through the QMS, HSM and EMS the company seeks to prevent nonconformities at every operative level, and aims to the continuous improvement of services in order to ensure and maintain the customer base, attract new clients and establish in the market as a reliable company in implementing services offered in addition to the provision of appropriate and safe working environment and the monitoring of the impact of its activities on the environment by ensuring compliance with and enforcement of the existing legislation.
The company through its commitment of both Senior Management and its entire staff to the principles set forth in the Quality, Health and Safety at Work and Environment Policy and more generally, throughout the Management System, looks forward to the continuous and steady development of its business as a follow-up to a healthy and safe working environment, the prevention of environmental pollution, meeting the requirements of its customers and the continuous improvement of the quality of the services provided.
